Welcome To What’s Happening
The more things change, the more they remain the same. Everything comes full circle. We always go back to our roots. I’m living proof.
Over the years, so many people have asked me where I got my creativity and why I make the kind of art I do. So, finally I’m writing it all down. I invite you to follow my journey from its roots to where I am now.
Although I was always doodling and dabbling at creative projects, I never really took art seriously as a child or in high school or college. I thought it was much more sensible to take Biology and Calculus and Physics so I could “get ahead” in the world. It wasn’t until 2001, when I realized that I needed more in my life than being a stay home mom, that I discovered the magical world of watercolors. I created a small sampling of paintings of women done in a geometric segmented style that I called “Fractured Women”. READ MORE
